Job Description

Ernest Hunter Green are excited to be supporting a high growth retail / consumer goods business who have seen massive year on year increases to headcount and ultimately bottom-line sales (including beyond the UK). You will be an experienced Web Analytics Manager who is keen to progress and utilise the toolkit you have developed to make a real impact.

You will be tasked with:

  • Understanding data and providing ad hoc analysis from the primary web analytics tool, Google Analytics
  • Reporting on and offering insight into business split (A/B) testing, enhancements to sales funnel and other site changes, taking ownership of tracking quality across website(s), ensuring consistent tracking, analysis and reporting of core website KPI’s
  • Taking responsibility for BAU tagging through Google Tag Manager and supporting with the user testing process, primarily run by the Product and UX teams
  • Confirming KPIs and metrics that report strategy performance and support business objectives
  • Conducting analysis to detect trends and anomalies, deliver competitive insights into marketing and business strategy
  • Managing, segmenting and mining data to support CRM and email campaigns based on behaviour and customer trends
  • Mining customer journey data to help us better understand where and how we can better target and market to the customer in their journey

Desired Skills & Experience

You will have the following profile:

  • Experience in working across multiple and varied sources of data
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data structure, data systems/tools and related software and data management policies and practices (Google Analytics, AB testing, user testing etc)
  • Creative in their approach to data presentation so people engage, easily understand, and are inspired by data
  • Strategic in their thinking – proactive in mining the data for new and interesting insights that allow the business to be competitive
