Working for one of the world’s leading strategy consulting firms, the Learning and Development Lead will manage a small team and ensure the smooth running of learning and knowledge processes for the technology and digital function.
The main duties of the role involve the following:
- Overseeing the design and implementation of the L&D curriculum, including technical focused training and certifications, consulting skills and ad-hoc soft skills training
- Creating and owning the integral technical training vision and strategy whilst working with senior leadership to translate the training strategy into a yearly operational plan
- Identifying the relevant partners to deliver the training and then coordinating the coaching and training of trainers
- Organizing, leading and facilitating the flagship training event which occurs 2-3 times per year
- Managing the on-boarding program and ensuring the recruiting and talent team have good awareness of the training curriculum
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Learning & Development professional
- Knowledge of the technology industry with relevant experience in a tech company strongly preferred, open to professional services experience, where working closely with technical content
- Experience working across several different geographies is essential
- Degree qualified
- Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense service-orientated environment
- Ability to take the initiative and develop new L&D processes
- Diplomatic with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate
