Reporting into the Global Head of Reward, this position will be responsible for leading a team of seven and partnering with the people function and leadership to act as a Subject Matter Expert for total – reward related matters across the EMEA region.  This role will create and lead reward programmes that drives market competitiveness and talent retention as well as leading the implementation and delivery of globally–led programmes.

The main duties of the role involve the following:

  • Act as a change expert, ensuring that total reward programmes are at the core of change programmes and supporting leaders in delivery
  • Lead the annual compensation planning process
  • Partner with Finance and People teams globally to deliver the required outputs from the annual bonus review process
  • Ensure full compliance to the global and regional policies
  • Ensure executive reward packages are pre-agreed with the Global Team
  • Own the assessment of reward initiatives and provide meaningful analysis to support their development

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience of delivering total rewards strategy and solutions in a matrixed and multi-national environment
  • In-depth understanding of a regulated environment, including gender pay-gap and associated reporting requirements
  • Demonstrated experience of working effectively and influencing in different cultures, including Works Councils and Union relations
  • Ability to effectively manage and influence multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent experience in the design, implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and/or equivalent experience
